Great Post – the define your niche and know your target are especially relevant for me. My target audience is medium – large sized organizations who need to outsource marketing expertise – not the general consumer – I have to make sure my posts focus on the interests of my target

Hello Tamyka, you hit the nail right on the head. It is my strongest belief that nothing can be successful if there is no real enjoyment in doing the task at hand, same with blogging. A person’s interest and passion will eventually determine if you can live on your blog or not
Also the thought of having money right away should be dismissed since a lot of hard hard work is needed to bring you sit or blog to people’s attention, in my case for instance, i am aiming to actually earn anything meaningful from my site in at least a year’s time. For now, its all about doing what i like most, writing about what i enjoy.
